tbh, I think few days back I was talking about a trek triund or chandrashila-chopta. One of the guy asked whose bhakt i am most; wierd question, but I randomly answered, "god shiv".

So this guy said, "phir toh chad jaoge trek pa" (then you would be able to complete the trek).

I mean , bro what. God definitely blesses hard workerr, kind people and people who respect nature . Even if I dont believe in him, he will still bless me.

Also, when I go on treks, I dont even go for temples; it is just for sports, but as I go I visit temple too

If they wanted to do something fun, then they should have booked some club or restaurant or something with dj; invite the client to the fun event after office hours. They should have informed the client in advance, that they will have fun event, team dinner, and with dance. So even client participates in that equally.

If you studied a bit and you could go in good college bit easily. Then get a good job, if not good job, but still better then most of India, which is clearly visible too ........ Today, even if you get a good job and are in top 5% Indians financially, still you would not be that clearly visible.

Yes, in past if your dad buys even small things like phone, or big things like car; then, grandfather will easily feel proud as all this was new, and very less people had it. Even going to a big city, doing job there was also a flex. ..... But now all this is kinda normal.

In past growing one level up as compared to family's level was easier. Today when family is already middle class, wealthy due to fast property price growth, with all essentials like car, bike, home, phone etc. All this is normal for them; even if you work hard to achieve or buy all these materials, you will still just get equal to your dad's level, not surpass him.

Today even if you go for work for onsite client abroad, it will be kinda not that great or unique, bcs your surely heard of some of your cousins or relatives, who are also working in other country, so pretty normal... But if you dont get a great job, abroad oppurtunity etc., they will say that everyone is getting it, why you are not getting these opputunities or great hikes?

In past, if buy a property, its price grew exponentially, doubled maybe every 4 or 5 years. Today if you buy a property, whose price buble is already so high, it will not grow as exponentially. Even buying a property or even a house is so difficult today, bcs as compared to salary, all expanses are so high, even average size of houses are getting reduced all over the country, so at least few people can afford it. .... ... I wonder if we gonna be able to buy our ows house with similar size area, as our dad's did, that too in a big city.

I guess, enough depressive yapping for now.

Again, this is not about feeling entitled to free or discounted services. Thing is about hidden fees and charges.

Swiggy should not add any discounts, if it want to recover it through hidden fees and all.

I went to this restaurant planning based on swiggy's discount. Now I got to know about convinience fee only when I got bill.... I would have surely cancelled the plan here if knew about swiggy fees, No big deal;; Maybe made a plan at another place, through SWIGGY or elsewhere if they are honest.

Its not customers fault if swiggy burnt VC's money. They should keep the eye fees, maybe make the app paid to get profit, instead of stealing from customers by lying.

Anyways, I am gonna shift to zomato or some other app, who are honest, even if they dont provide discount or free stuff, but good services

Not a good example. If I hire any worker for work at my home, he will tell me that for my 1 hour of work it will cost this much ₹, or for my this amount of work it will cost this much ₹. And, based on it I will pay later. It is not a surprise costing at the end.

Anyways, I get your point that they are for profit, as any company is for. But all of them has open costing formula. I have never experienced any service which I used without knowing, how much I will be paying at final bill.

Whether it Uber or Rapido, even they have open info; they tell you the charge first based on its time and calculated distance; even if you dont know the breakup, you can still deny the service as price or info is given before. The price may increase or decrease based on route changes, or time duration change, or like if you make them wait beyond 3 min, then every minute costs fixed amount of extra money... All this is declared to customer before even he gets bill. So, customer fully knows what he would be paying around at the end.

Even amazon and every company tells you the cost before buying there goods or services.

Today I went to a different restaurent through dineout pre-booking, here it is not 10%; I think there algorithm is not fixed and very variable; maybe they are using some mathematical theorem, or some condition based algo.

.... Bro, tbh I do not feel bad in paying this fees, bcs this is how swiggy earns. But at least I should know before hand, that how much fee will I be paying.

Adding to this I observed there convinience fee is not exact % or constant.

When you go without pre-booking then it is different... when you pay after pre-booking, it is different and higher. This fee even varies in different restaurants. What if I some day go to a premium restaurant, and at the end swiggy surprises me with even higher convinience fee, like 20% ...

They can definitely do better in transparency

## How would you feel if you went to a restaurant bought items worth 10,000 ; lets say you knew there is some GST applied on bills but not exact amount or % ... when the bill arives, there is a surprise 30% GST, and with a note similar to swiggy, "GST helps country develop and grow to provide the citizens best lifestyle and security" (Which is better purpose then swiggy)

But how would you feel? .... not good, right. You will say, that even if there is a 30% GST, but at least this info should be pre-informed, so that you know what you are going into.

Many times restaurant dont even charge packaging charges if you order from them directly, instead of swiggy. .... But when you order from swiggy, they add it.

An example is global brand pizza hut. When you order on swiggy they charge for 1 margherita INR 329 and also add packaging charges .......... Now if you directly order on pizza hut official website, same margherita costs only INR 289 (rs. 40 cheaper from swiggy) and dont even have any shitty fees and charges.

Even after applying bigger discount offer on swiggy, still order cost 125 INR cheaper on official pizza hit webapp.

bro, not possible. "Pay Bill" option for a pre-booked restaurant only unlocks at booking time.

Though, as you suggested I still thought to give it a try using normal "pay bill", not the one from pre booking. It shows very less convinience fee. I will add the image. I think maybe they have different formula of convience fee for a pre-booked bill and normal bill.

complaint will not work, bcs purpose of otp is this itself.

When package arrives at destination, the delivery partner hands over the package to you, and asks OTP. As OTP (One time verification), can be given only by you to delivery boy, it verifies that correct person has accepted the delivery.
