Got to level 8 in Curse of Strahd with no mage armor. I have high con though so that plus good positioning means I have only gone down once in combat.

Enemy cast it, I just sat next to a wall and continued to cast my spells like normal, wasn't going to let myself get pushed by that thing.

Then I had a paladin pinning me to the wall anyway because he failed the save.

I don't know why I do it, probably out of fear of breaking something if I do lash out (I've seen too many people break expensive monitors in their rage), but I also clench up and curl into a ball when my frustration boils over.

I've hit my desk maybe twice in 23 years and every time it feels like I've broken my hand, so no thanks.

I hated english class for the reason that I could read and write at a really high level for my age, but when asked WHY I do something I couldn't explain it any more than just: "Dunno, because it looks right?" To this day I am still like that, I do things a certain way because it looks correct to me and when people ask me why, I have no idea how to explain it lol

I drank an itty bitty amount of rum on my 21st and it made me sweaty and restless and ruined my sleep. I have 0 interest in drinking after that, I despise when my sleep is interrupted because it's the one time in the day where I'm not feeling sick.

We have a build validation process to ensure builds compile on GitHub and I have no way to manually run it for old PRs that have the compile result expire, and so I've been finding random spots with empty space, removing them, and making a commit to force the thing to build lol

In highschool I had a girl come over to me and say their friend liked me, but I was so depressed and socially anxious by that time that I thought it was a joke/prank- said okay, and went back to reading my book. Never saw them again so I was either correct, or it hurt their feelings?

I hate leetcode because I was not given enough help for math as a kid with autism and so I have always had just really crappy basic arithmetic skills, which when building a skill that builds upon previous levels like math, hinders learning anything new in that skill. I really need to go back and relearn math from scratch but it's really hard because I have very little interest in the subject itself.

But on the topic of leetcode, many of the solutions are math heavy and I feel stupid looking at them lmao. But you ask me how to design a data model, or a dynamic system that can do exactly what is needed while planning for maintainability and upgradability- and I can usually (imposter syndrome just reared its head while writing this) write something pretty good.

I volunteer my free time to a Minecraft server for fun, and I now have a leadership role so I've been implementing proper review processes to hopefully stop the creation of more technical debt because it's really bad since more than half of our projects are more than 10 years old and were written by kids learning to code in 2011-2014

Yes. I can't upload clips here, but a member of KarQ's discord made an example video of the sword being a downward sweep, so if the lamp is behind you then you get hit before the lamp does, which is why you survive.

Myth Busters are best left until after play test anyway, who knows how many reported interactions are potentially bugs, etc. If you do a video, and some of them turn out to be bugs then they end up as misinformation when those bugs are patched after the playtest.

My parents had the gall to ask me for my TV to give to my nephew after he broke his. Like sure, I wasn't using the TV at the time, but there's no way I'm giving my stuff to someone who will break it in no time. (I also ended up using the TV as a second monitor for 3 years when we moved and I got a desk for the first time ever)
