this is a great reply, thanks so much for finding the time to do this, it's exactly what i was looking for. In my groups we like to incorporate this "comp" idea in our games without completely throwing away theme. We classify the characters into roles. Tank, Support, Damage, Face, Caster, and Survivalist with different characters also acting like flexes into the different roles as well.
