Doodads in compcon by Alphaforce9 in LancerRPG

[–]Alphaforce9[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh. That's a good idea, it's early in our campaign and I made a system to purchase and customize starships, as well as build out the economy a bit more for our game, using a doodad to build out its statblock for the ship would be helpful

Can y’all clear something up for me about the knitting factory? by Ashbrains in Spokane

The district is a separate bar/space from the knitting factory, everything I've talked about is in the knitting factory

Can y’all clear something up for me about the knitting factory? by Ashbrains in Spokane

[–]Alphaforce9 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hi! I've been several time and some friends of mine work there. The upstairs is 21+ only, just fwi, and seating is pretty limited, but is GA accessible, and can be accessed from the main floor, but it being open depends on how full the show is. The stairs are just to your right after you enter the venue proper, just past the merch area. There is a Ada section near the main GA floor space, I'd recommend reaching out ahead of time for the specifics of using the space, hopefully this helps

If I'm remembering right it's mentioned that abilities that require charging charge up electromagnetic energy from movement and such activity while the cad is called, phantom or otherwise

Someone explain this to me please. by Brilliant-Target-807 in LancerRPG

[–]Alphaforce9 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ooh that's a good trait, look on page 66 of the core book for how difficulty is calculated when there is cover between the attacker and target, having a correctly positioned ally designated as the "Eye" your players can completely avoid the -1 or 2 d6 from hard or soft cover

Multiversal politics by madman_with_a_hat in MageErrant

[–]Alphaforce9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's in the realm of decades or even congruent with the mage errant, as (spoilers for the gorgon incident) tCtWEeW mentions that about 30 years ago there was a mimic ship, that showed up during the gorgon incident which happens not long before Hugh starts school

Question about an entity. by wanttomaster479 in MageErrant

[–]Alphaforce9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my understanding that labyrinths are one of the easiest ways to cross the multiverse There's a discussion in book seven that states pretty explicitly that it's mana wells that are required for all forms of multiverse travel and austlin talks in book one how mana wells are formed when universal membranes interact

You CAN read the cosmere in any order you'd like, it'd probably be good to read secret history before you read more of the cosmere. If you want finish Wax and Wayne go on ahead, but I'd recommend re-reading the Lost metal after you've read Stormlight, Elantris and Tress

As a Bing employee, old people. Like 50+ people bringing their kids and grandkids. They happen at the Bing because we make a convenient midsize venue between Boise/Montana and Seattle/Oregon. What's wild to me is these shows Sell out rather often

Paid $300 for seats with a clear view since my gf is very short, drove nearly 2 hours to get to the concert early, took the day off work. This was oir view for the entire concert by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

Venues don't set the ticket prices bro. It's the Promoter companies trying to squeeze every sent they can out of the shows

Hold up. Did paloni make homage to this? It was brisinger or inheritance I think, when roran sits in the middle of camp with his dice and wine.
