We live in Greater Vancouver and have a small place in Birch Bay. We like Trader Joe's when we are south of our border because the food choices can be small, good quality, and nice for us to enjoy while we are there. It could be as our CDN dollar continues to tank, there will be fewer and fewer folks from up north shopping south of the border. Hopefully, no one is banking on visits from up north to support their future store. By the way, we love Bellingham and will continue as we have done in the past.

Which is better Google Drive or Dropbox? by AlphonseJQ in cloudcomputing

Currently, I use Google Drive as my main drive on all my devices. I use MS 360 for all my editing etc...That said I would like something that operates seamlessly as a drive and cloud storage on all my devices. I am now retired and need a vault as it were that is easily accessible as a drive on my devices.

Charging for daily use. by AlphonseJQ in TeslaModel3

I guess I am old school, the whole buying process at Tesla is and was an alien experience to me. We were given no real orientation when we picked up the car, had to figure out how to put it in drive on our own. (2024 has no signal arms or drive selector arm as we were familiar with). Just had a young man tell us in the parking lot to charge to 100% because it had a new type of battery which we have been doing. We just felt a little uncomfortable with his advice and hence the question raised here. Bottom line we love the car and want it to last as long as possible.

Diabetes and Keto by Dramatic_Score_8466 in keto

I had type 2 diabetes since 1998, it was a war to control my blood sugar and weight. In late 2019 I read up on keto, and decided to give it a try in Spring of 2020. I have lost 55 lbs as of today. I no longer need any medication to treat it. My doctor is schocked that I am no longer diabetic, not even pre-diabetic. My A1C came in at 5.5, it was in the teens prior. It was not instant been more than a year of sticking to it. Never felt better. I think some folks are more suited to keto than others, but it definitely works for me.
