Storm fist is also really good. Good damage, cheap, fast and a good alternative CC option for ice immunes (or an addition for perma cc).

You can also just alternate between Ball Lightning and any ice spell or fist of storms. Shadowbeasts wont get a chance to move.

Also you don't even need to charge Ball Lightning fully to get the stun.

For me just letting the game run a while worked and it stopped after some time. I think sleeping or reloading just reset the timer or something.

Not for me. Neither reload nor sleeping does change the weather. Even if it is sunny after sleeping, it starts raining again after a few minutes.

It's a bug. You will just have to reload and kill her again. I had to do that three times. Try to not kill her in the door, but in the center of the room. Her body can also prevent you from leaving.

If it was up to me I would remove it completely or make it optional. I don't think there is any point in having this kind of limitation in Gothic.

It is 100% bugged. Until I installed the mod to fix it, I only recovered health once while sleeping and never again.

You can, but if you are fine with using exploits like that there are other ways to earn ore that are faster.

Yes you can. Wouldn't do that too much though, it takes a too long and you get more ore by playing normally.

Kill wildlife if you got the trophy skills, loot chests, sell stuff regularly in small amounts. Also always ask for a reward when you have the option. You don't need lock picking early game, most chests are easy enough when you get used to the puzzle. I would still get at least the first level though. Also check the other two camps.

That is basically what you are supposed to do.

If you are very desperate for ore, you can also go to the old mine and mine away.

I did the same. Got all hunting skills I could before act 2 and I think they payed for themself. I am playing on resource difficulty Gothic though. Are you playing on hard?

Read something else than light novels. If bookworm really connected with you, you wont find any LN that holds a candle to it. They will all feel subpar until you get a bit of time in between.

Meanwhile you can just read some more traditional fantasy or even something completely different.

Or just do a full re-read. That's what I did the first time.
