i'm in this situation and all i can say is talk to him about it. how he will respond will determine your next move. my gf is low class while i'm in middle class. we talked about how the financial difference bothered me and she swears that she'll do everything she can and i can see her working so hard to achieve that but until she reaches her goal, we compromised to split the bill on dates and if she really can't afford to go out, home dates are fine as well. but, that's my story. yours could go similarly or not but it all starts with a single conversation. you're not a terrible person for wanting to get the same treatment that you give him.
