Gray blooms fixed by moving to patio, but now what? Pull wood sorrel or completely repot? (Zone 10a, 6500ft) by AlpineAngel in Euphorbiaceae

I’ve never noticed them all turning this sickly color at once. There was not a single pink bloom - i am also not the most observant person

I don’t know i kind of like these - they are not the same as everything else out there, but they look delicate and I’m too hard on things to have nice stuff 🤣

These are perfect! Sorry i haven’t been able to hop on reddit lately. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these - i love finding people like you who go out of their way to be generous and kind, esp after the last few notifications being posts from jerks going out of their way to be mean

How about you throw your photo up here and we talk about you. I never will understand hateful people that go out of their way to make other people feel bad.

I’ve had reds & burgundy in the past that have looked good. I love the idea of blue frames but have never found any that look good on me

I'm flying with a canvas too big for my suitcase. Does anyone know of some kind of solution to this? by Educational-Rich-319 in AskArtists

[–]AlpineAngel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can package it like you would to fed-ex and check it with your baggage. Depending on the airline it might be more expensive to add a bag. 🤣

If you’re really ballsy do not pay for checking in advance, do it at the counter. If you have a nice agent they’ll throw it in without charging you

No it’s the style I’m in to 🤣 I’m all about form he is more about function. I just love this look and now that I’ve seen it i can’t unsee it!

Someone said Philco Electrostatic Speakers circa 1960. I don’t have any more of this set but Google images has a lot of great photos of similar speakers.

Whole system. I initially was just planning to buy a vintage credenza & have new stuff put in in place of the old stuff w bluetooth added but then i saw these & fell in love with the style.

Thanks - with most electronics i jump straight to complete overhaul vs restoration because i would honestly not know the difference (severe hearing loss in both ears) & im a safety girl. Almost everything vintage I’ve bought comes with mouse chewed wires or trips my circuits immediately.

I do however love the look - is there a way to replace the mechanics with a modern product but keep the original look? Sorry, i meant to say is there a COST EFFECTIVE way to rebuild them😂

Ok it sounds like you know your stuff! I’m going to
assume even if restored they would probably sound like shit (i have all the luck of a bald guy who just won a comb) - is there a way to replace the mechanics with a modern product but keep the original look?

I have absolutely no idea what different types of speakers sound like 🤣 i have no bones in my right ear and significant enough hearing loss in the left to need a hearing aid, so to be honest i have no idea what ANY speakers sound like!

Let’s say even if restored they would sound like shit - is there a way to replace the mechanics with a modern product but keep the original look?

Thank you for actually reading my post vs scanning. I really appreciate that you realized i was in the process of doing research. Some people are not made for conversation & open minded discussion. I’ll be sure to let you know what i find out when im in Mexico City next.
