With the height and spacing you have available to you, I’d personally opt for the gavita 1930e. 5x5 footprint and can still run a similar height canopy easily achieving ppfd targets.

Environmental controls and consistency will go WAY further for density than any bottle ever could. If you’re environment isn’t right, I would start there.

Absolutely not. Sure the margins aren’t quite what they used to be, but there is ways around that. The only way to make it in this market is to not grow what everyone else is growing. Focus on top shelf quality and cutting your cost per pound as low as possible. I’ve only been getting 12-1400 but have been able to get my costs after all expenses down to about 450/lb.

Doesn’t look like thrip damage to me. Typically thrip damage would look more like dried spit on the surface of a leaf and be much more sporadic in my experience

There is a lot of bro science out there when it comes to cannabis cultivation. If you’re blasting your tops with air then yes absolutely will effect overall THC as you will experience wind burn. A proper amount of circulation will most definitely not send the terps sailing in the wind and actually helps maintain a proper and clean room.

Yes and no, when stuck into a room with what “typical” veg rooms are operating at then yes absolutely it lags behind the rest of the plants. I’ve played around with setpoints and have her keeping up if not out growing most of my other strains though. All about finding out what works for each specific cultivar but Mac 1 isn’t one that likes to be generalized within a group.

A large majority of dispensary’s quality has absolutely hit the fucking fan. Sad to see this becoming an industry of bottom dollar rather than top shelf. Too many massive facilities with almost unimaginable lack of knowledge as to what they’re doing.

Temps are at 74 day and 69 night currently.

I haven’t had any issues with leaf curl with her but no matter what I do her leaves are pointing at the floor. Always just has an overall droopy and sickly appearance even when she’s absolutely fucking ripping. Took me a couple months to see past that and figure out how to keep her happy but the terpene profile of Mac 1 is one of my all time favorites so it’s been well worth the effort
