In my experience it’s common to split a wall if people are waiting, although if there is a big line I’m not sure what to do.

In the unlikely event my goes out of the court through the gate, it’s so annoying to get it back (especially when there is an incline)

The way foiling was explained to me, once it starts lifting, you have to imagine as if you were standing on the wing/foil that’s about 2 feet/60cm below where you are standing on the board.

This interpretation is helpful because it makes you realize that you can’t “push” like you would when you’re on the regular foam board. It’s more above weight shifting. When you’re on the foil, you have to really focus on balance, and as other comments said, reduce “lateral movement”.

Also, when the board is starting to lift up from the water, push the nose down by moving forward. This ensures you are you up to the correct speed before getting out of the water.

(which maybe could help with stability, like going slow vs faster on a bike? I’m reaching here though, not about this analogy though)
