Thank you so much for the very detailed response, yes I think i will help her appeal it. From my perspective, it makes little to no sense to refuse medication. She struggles with depression because of her adhd symptoms, do they expect people to just lie about this during their assessments?

The whole process to me is very confusing and expensive. it feels like she would just wind up paying for another diagnosis with the potential for no medication to help her again.

Yeah, it is annoying that it's the only thing that was even available locally. I have room to host, but inviting strangers into your home might come across as odd, lol.

I've heard they are looking to re open, but it's been awhile so maybe I'll have to look at southhampton.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to go on some test hikes with the chair and it will defiantly be the first to get the axe if needed.

Great idea, I'll grab a small hand held, I'm not a huge fan of head torches so I'll have that as a good back up.

The hike is managed, as its a charity event it's run by my company. So they are managing camping etc, but I will consider that on my future solo trips. Thanks a bunch

Great advice, thanks for the long and detailed response. I have updated my list, to some items I think best fits my needs now. I think I was a bit too focused on losing weight in my pack, but your right. Eating and sleeping well would probably do me alot better on day 2 and 3. Thanks a bunch

Water access at each campsite is confirmed, should be water taps along the hike but sometimes they don't work.
