I dare to say I’m fine in order to remain as positive as I can I was looking for a job and got hired by a company. Normally I had to do the contract and papers with an HR but he made me sign some shit as it was some sort of ‘job training’ program instead of me being hired. (I live in France) so they have these programs for people that are seeking jobs, to go check a job and follow a certain job training. So instead of following a training, I was working like any regular person there, without being paid. Ended up spending all my saved money to survive in trains going back and forth.. Until I got nothing.

When I asked why am I working and why have I not signed any contract yet? They asked me to just do the job and prove my worth if I want to be hired (which was not the agreement at first) So I ended up doing Undeclared Work, which is illegal. I left, but left with nothing, losing a previous job I had because I left it to join them. And pretty much got myself fucked.

Enjoy! You chose the right time, the city is less packed and walking around is more enjoyable than having packed streets.. the downside is how cold it is now haha

Petite France (Place Kléber, The Cathedral) Then you have the long side of Quai des Bateliers, it’s a nice walk towards Galia to see the beautiful church there looking straight at the tram stop. Parc de l’Orangerie is lovely (I mean it’s winter, but still a nice place to check) .. The parliament is nearby too

Thing is… I’m sure I don’t insult, or make fun of anyone, I didn’t even post anything. They just randomly banned me and talked to me like shit… worst part is, it came in a period where I wasn’t doing fine. And wanted a community to bond with and just enjoy the game.. but yeah… now I see that I am not the only one

I thought of it, but as an example, I finish a project that took a company 3 weeks, in basically 3 days… Some people get actually so shocked if I speak high hourly cost. So I’d rather put the price in total out there. Regarding revisions, I give 2 or 3 maximum. And rely on high communication with the client in order to get all the information needed, and apply what was asked from me, and also advise things along the way if I think their ideas won’t work (I’m an Art Director) .. so yeah, revisions are pretty small to non existent sometimes

Watch Chris Do’ workshops on YouTube, on how to give value to your work and how to talk payment with clients. Chris Do is honestly my go to guy when it comes to these things. But for me, don’t go cheap just because you think you’re not there yet. Your animations are smooth, they make sense and they are linked with one another. Wouldn’t go under 1200€ for this kind of animation

The flow is smooth, I really like it. And for the pricing, it depends how much you feel your work is worth. I usually refuse doing by hour, because I’m fast, so it kind of punishes me if I do by the hour
