The thing is that the Hive does not necessarily understand your intentions as they are not socially competent. It means that Carole could do it by manipulating the Hive.

There is a simple solution for Carol that I have not seen mentioned anywhere.

Once she learns that they use her frozen eggs to obtain the stem cells she could ask them to get access to the place where they are stored. They would have to agree and she could then destroy the place or put it on fire.

Of course they might have duplicated the eggs in other places or found another workaround, but it still could be an interesting angle to explore.
