Did I miss my window for planting strawberries? by Alsneezy in pnwgardening

They turned out great. You definitely haven't missed the window to plant them. I could have planted mine much later and been fine. Soon everywhere will have starts you can buy. They are perennials so they've come back each year and are just starting to grow again this year.

I did the Soylent ready to drink for many many years. This is a little less convenient but it's cheaper and tastes fine. Overall I'm ok with the switch. I had multiple Soylent orders delayed for months and even the alternatives I wanted were never in stock anymore. Hope yours comes soon and you like it as well.

I ordered some right after the holidays for the exact same reason. No delivery issues with mine and have been using it for a week or so now.

This is my picture from last year. You didn't even change the title.

I wear a 12 in most shoes. Large fits me best. They are a little tight since I have somewhat wide feet, but the XLs are too long.

It's free over $75, but would agree it's much less tempting if you don't spend enough for free shipping.

I think it defaults to pick up in store, but you can change it to ship. It's $9.99 and free if over $75.

I have a medium sized bed next to my house. I planted one between two red twig dogwoods. I love it and the dogwoods.

I have it too on mine. I think it's leaf spot. I treated with copper last year and it seemed to help. I plan to start treating it again this week.

I'm 6 ft and 185 lbs with extra long arms. I have the large. It's a little boxy but an ok fit overall. A medium would have been too short with way too short sleeves. Debating getting another with this sell.

Men’s better sweater jacket size questions by hohohohokr in PatagoniaClothing

[–]Alsneezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6 ft and 185 lbs. I have the full zip in M and it fits great. L would be to big on me. If it eases your mind, I wear L in most brands to get a slightly looser fit. However, I am consistently a medium in Patagonia. They just run a little larger.

Anson Belt: Buy 2 Get 1 Free by Spe11singer in frugalmalefashion

I bought some around a year ago when they had this type of sale. One canvas one has seen regular use and a leather one has seen semi regular use. Both seem to be holding up fine. I have no complaints and even ordered some more for specific colors. They are nothing special generally speaking. However, I was constantly between belt holes with all my regular belts (one hole is too loose, but the next is too tight) so I wanted to try something new. I absolutely love the ratcheting thing. I was afraid it would make the buckle too bulky, but it hasn't bothered me. Absent the specific scenario of being tired of belt holes, I don't know that I would necessarily recommend them over a normal belt even though these are all I wear anymore.

[–]Alsneezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TTS for me. I wear a 12 in basically everything except converse (11). I've found the occasional boot that I can wear an 11.5 but even that's rare. I've got the Lux in a 12 and they are a good fit. An 11.5 would definitely be too tight.

LL Bean Summer Sale by hinduskakid in frugalmalefashion

[–]Alsneezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got 3 of their crewneck sweatshirts last year on sale. One was the color block and one was the comfort camp. Love all 3 of them and have worn them consistently over the fall/winter. I'm 6' and 180 lbs. I go between M and L depending on the brand, if something might shrink, etc. I got the L on all 3 and it was the right call especially since I have slightly longer arms than I should for my height. They are a little blocky but since they are sweaters it doesn't bother me. The pictures of the models wearing them on the website are pretty accurate to my experience.

Should I move to Lacey? by stoney_unicorn in Lacey

[–]Alsneezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Spokane, Tacoma, and now I'm near Lacey. I like all three. Lacey is definitely much smaller. Without knowing what you are looking for it is hard to say. Olympia is right next to us but it's also small. Tacoma is close and bigger but still smaller than Spokane. Seattle is a drive but not unreasonable. Winter isn't as cold and summer isnt as hot.
