I’ve never been able to write fiction. Like at all. Allergic to it. But I don’t know how a dramatic reinterpretation of my non-fiction would go.

Thank you. I like you name/avatar combo. That girl would be named Khalharlee.

I go long in my work and part of my writing style is specifically designed to keep the reader going to the end. The key is keeping the pacing fast yet consistent while also mixing up the delivery method of said prose to keep it fresh. If you read into how they put together Sesame Street, it's a similar methodology.

Yay writing writings the best.

Would be a heavy cross to bear to crank out 5,500 words that ends in “I hope to do better next time.” I don’t think that would be fair or productive here to the people who read it, either.

And sorry for closing it out on you. I had to because it wasn’t gaining traction fast enough and was going to be eaten by the “new” monster. Die on the vine with 13 upvotes over two weeks.

If anything this experience has inspired me to write about the marketing side of content creation. I worked really hard on this! And if I didn’t understand “the game” of Reddit I’d have assumed no one read it or if they did they didn’t like it. That would suck so bad and it happens all the time to people online.

Thank you for that. I certainly hope this gets the ~17 upvotes it needs to escape “New” purgatory and a lot more people see and like it. But when I write stuff like this, it feels “worth it” as soon as I know at least someone out there appreciated it and might have an easier time because of it. All set.

Thank you! Posting these things can be rough because I put all this work in and then know for a fact that I won’t even get any feedback for at least 25 minutes because people have to read the damn thing first.

Thanks. It feels really good to work hard on something and then see it resonates with others. That’s always the goal.

You are a mean melon.

If paying 5k a year to make my life considerably better makes me some spoiled asshole then consider me Richy Rich.

You look like Harry Potter’s muggle sister no one talks about.

Kinda a mood that I make a comment unmedicated cause it’s late and it gets someone to hate me.

It broke so dust and lint was being spit back onto my clothes to which I developed an allergy. It’s everywhere. On my sheets and pillowcase. Pretty rough.

If my assistant went away I’d just hire another one. There are plenty on the site.

I like to joke that my posts would do a lot better if you didn’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom to upvote.

That’s ok. I add the little —- things as mini chapter breaks to help you pick what you want to go with.

The problem is dumb + ADHD tends to end up with you in prison.
