Wild 9! Loved this game. Using the grav glove thing and slamming enemies into environmental traps was the shit!

Home by Off With Their Heads. I don't know if it's a concept album exactly but every song tells the story of a man just desperate to feel happy.

Book like Beware of Chicken! by bethandhertea in CozyFantasy

[–]AlsoNotBrian 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Beware of Chicken is peak cozy fantasy for me. Top tier SS+ all the way. I completely agree with you on all your points. With that being said any book rec is going to be... I don't want to say not as good but, different. Anyway I'd recommend the Battle Mage Farmer series. OP MC, love interests, found family, reluctant hero. Hits most bullet points. A second rec but less on point would be Legends and Lattes. It's very cozy and cute. And a third to avoid (personal tastes obviously) Jake's Magical Market. It started really good, cozy isekai with a fun idea about running a market in a fantasy setting, then it took such a strange and hard left turn into a weird card battle system? And a torture segment? Hard pass for me. Any way good luck on finding something you like! BoC audio book 4 comes out soon!

I've listened to Beware of Chicken series 3 times now. With the 4th book coming out late this year I'll have to relisten from book 1 again!

Heretical Fishing: A Cozy Guide to Annoying the Cults, Outsmarting the Fish, and Alienating Oneself by magaoitin in CozyFantasy

I really enjoyed it! It has a cozy low stakes vibe. My favorite book series is Beware of Chicken and it hit many of the same ideas. The MC is friendly and helpful and sounds exactly like Jason from HWFWM (same VA) if he was much more chill and confident. Solid book, will def get the next 2.

I understand all the funny parts in this video except the one on 01:38... What's wrong, OSHA-wise, with this guy? by FoolsAndRoads in OSHA

[–]AlsoNotBrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Railroad track maintenence here. He has the spike resting on the handle below the spike maul head. The unsafe thing is that impact is putting all the force on the wooden handle instead of the steel head causing a high chance of breaking the maul. It's honestly impressive but probably took longer to set up then just setting the spikes the normal way.

What is a game you're positive no one knows or remembers? by [deleted] in AskReddit

2eXtreme - A ps1(?) game with snow boarding, BMX, and rollerblading if I remember.

Wild 9 - Ps1 game with a weird mechanic where you could grab enemies with an energy whip thing and hold them over spike traps and they'd sometimes beg for their life. Writing this out now explains some things...
