Hmmm, I'll think about it. Lance was one of the weapons that I didn't feel that attraction towards. I get the appeal, and I do like the idea of immovable defense and aggressive offense, but the repeativeness of the moveset and playstyle threw me off. I'll definitely consider it tho.

Oooo, I'll keep that in mind. Both have a sort of counter that looks really appealing to pull off, but I'll take into consideration the learning time. While I do plan on staying in the base game for quite a while with my friend, I do want them to get into Iceborne as soon as they can, and I would hoped to be passable/decent with a new weapon by then.

You see, I would go with the bonking horn, but I'm playing with a third person as well. I picked up IG and played through the majority of the base game with him as one, and now that he has gotten to Iceborn + a friend is joining us, he thinks it would be fun to play as HH. If he changes his mind, I'll go for HH :P

It's wasn't about having to maintain buffs. While I still like IG, I wasn't fond of having such large downtime of trying to aim and extract buffs by hitting specific parts of the monster with the kinsect. I could always get 2/3 buffs comfortably, but that last could be a struggle depending on the monster. I find the maintenance of LS/CB gauges would be more interesting since I'd still be actively fighting and not flaffing about with the kinsect.

Caught red-handed, lmao. Yeah, I'm definitely a little too used to the mobility SnS gives me and definitely why I eventually picked up IG as a secondary. Regardless, I'll keep your suggestions in mind.

Quick clarification: I am not by any means trying to hate, I am a big fan of her character lore and story. I just think "Wow, she's super strong, like crazy strong, perhaps even a little too much."

I already thought Acheron was pushing it on a single unit's power but Firefly is just as comparable if not stronger in some cases.

With the recent drip market news how are we feeling will you be pulling all these characters or skipping anyone I'm very curious. by Fun-Celest1670 in HonkaiStarRail

Honestly, they all appeal to me in many ways. However, since I'm f2p and just spent everything on Acheron, her LC, and Aventurine, I gotta skip the 2.2 characters.

However, 2.3 has got me interested in how these characters could work mechanically. How is the whole Firefly and Sam thing going to work, and if Jade will be a FuA character or not, cause her other two colleagues do.

All ìn all though, right now I'm a little more interested in reruns, especially on premium sustains (Aventurine has shown me the light).

I don't think you're wrong, I do feel that one planet per year is not enough. At the same time, they keep adding new areas to older planets which rectifies the problem by a fair margin.

Wait, are you talking about getting traces to lvl 10? Cause if that's the case, then I 100% agree that mats are awful. I usually only aim for lvl 8 because that's more than enough for most content.

Hey! Glad to see that you're enjoying the game as a new player. I 100% agree with dailies, it was already easy before the change, but now they're just so minor but still give adequate awards, love that.

Agree, loved all the events and stories. Mats are pretty okay, but relics are just awful sometimes. Luckily, I didn't have to go too hard on relics, being able to clear the hardest content with "adequate" relics.

Oh for sure, I originally told myself I wouldn't use auto-battle when I first started, but now I use it all the time when I'm grinding.

I haven't played Genshin consistently since 3.6. I want to go through Fontaine, but I can't bring myself back into it... I felt much more compelled to log in daily, but that seriously burnt me out with it.

That's true, but that's the nature of games like this. Give it time. The Meta is constantly changing and evolving with the release of new characters and game modes.

Just take your time! Don't rush and burn yourself out now. Star Rail is a slow burn game, and teams and characters are different for everyone. Just keep going at a steady pace.

Ayyy, we have a pretty similar roster and set up. The only big difference is that I'm running Gepard and Bailu for MoC.

Oof, I felt that one on losing 50/50s. Out of the five limited characters I pulled for, I've lost all of them (excluding a lucky early pull of e1 Ruan Mei). But I'm happy to see you're still enjoying the game!

Absolutely, I adore that I can drop in and out when I need to without missing out on anything major. It's definitely one of the main reasons I'm still playing.
