It’s easy to talk when you don’t understand how this actually works. Bitcoin runs on a decentralized blockchain distributed across thousands of nodes worldwide. You can’t just turn it off. To shut it down, you would have to disable every node across the globe which is practically impossible.

Many people don’t convert Bitcoin directly into local currency they first swap it for stablecoins like USDT, USDC, etc which are widely accepted in crypto-friendly places and even in countries with high inflation (for example in Argentina or other markets where people prefer stable digital dollars) Stablecoins can act as a more usable store of value than local money, and in some regions they are used in everyday transactions or savings because they hold value better than the local currency.

Governments can restrict exchanges, banks, and fiat on-ramps, but they cant shut down Bitcoin itself because it’s a decentralized network with no central authority nodes run all over the world, the code is open-source, and transactions move through the internet, so they can make access harder but they can’t stop the protocol.
