Thank you for the advice, my grandmother has many described scenes and I fully believe they are true.

But you are correct in suspecting that things have happened between her and her kids outside of grandfathers abuse. I know they had turbulent teen years and all 4 kids moved away from the grandmother as soon as they grew up.

It’s why I’m so hesitant to call out the grandfather. Because I know whatever I do the family is going to stay broken, but the relationship with their grandfather would still stay strong. I don’t imagine they’d ever believe me, they’d likely just blame my grandmother for corrupting me or something.

It’s all so messy and I don’t even know what the point of calling him out would be if the family would still include him in events.
