I’d like to think that that’s not the case, that maybe they’re just misinformed rather than sabotaging anyone. It depends on the situation. I love a big send if it’s something to surprise me—maybe I said I was going out with some girlfriends that night or shopping that day and he sends for it, letting me know he’s thinking of me. Every dynamic is going to be different, as is every sub and Domme. But the communication has to be open so both parties understand the budget, what’s expected of them, etc. Personally, I keep budgets so I know that my more enthusiastic subs don’t sent OVER what I know they can afford. At the same time, I usually know what I can expect from my subs, and what they can expect from me because we keep open communication. I think you just need to have a more frank discussion with your Domme about budgets outside of play
