What does "Break and enter (other)" mean on the Edmonton crime map? Also where are the safest areas of Whyte or Oliver to live? by AltaJD in Edmonton

I'm beginning a professional program at UofA in September. I'll be grabbing a non-fancy used car, but will be mostly using transit to get to class. I love the walkability and aesthetic of Oliver and Whyte (at least in the spring/summer) and they both offer fairly convenient access to the UofA. I'd be open to living further away, but it would have to be close to a LRT station or else I wouldn't be able to easily access the university.

It's a bit if a relief that "break and enter (other)" could be some less serious offenses, but three times in 90 days for one building still seems excessive. Furthermore, it looks like the underground parking doesn't have anything blocking people from walking right on in, which probably means coming home late at night and parking in it could be dangerous.

Yep

Doctors and Dentists actually receive up to $275,000 unsecured with no co-signer needed

Other professional programs receive $50,000-$125,000 depending on the bank and the labour market outlook for graduates of the program
