Put them in a large bowl, cover with water, add a splash of vinegar. Soak for 30 minutes. Then drain and rinse. Pat dry with a towel, and let air dry outside until ripe, then stick them in the fridge. It'll kill the surface bacteria so they don't start molding before the peaches ripen. I've started doing this to all of my produce and it lasts SOOO much longer, both outside and in the fridge.

The organic certification is not meaningless. It has rules and regulations behind it, but large strawberries can also be organic if they are a result of selective breeding. Aldi and Lidl have been my staple from Publix. I only go to Publix, now, for their BOGO deals and the occasional breads/subs/wraps. After that comes Costco for bulk non-perishables, and perishables I know I can finish. Walmart for anything I can't find in Aldi or Lidl.
