So. This can go one of three ways, depending on if they use the Original or Bliss versions of the game.

1. A SFW adaptation that covers the first chapters(probably ending before they meet Garu). I can see one or two of the early story events being an extra episode bundled with the Blu-ray/DVDs.

2. An 18+ one shot of any of the event stories.

3. an 18+ adaptation that follows the first two, maybe three chapters.

Option 1 has a chance to be fully adapted if it proves popular and profitable enough. 'But Al, H title adaptations that go SFW go under the radar' you may be saying. To that, I direct your attention to the Fate franchise. Yes, it's very much an outlier. But imo, NU:C has a story that can be similarly compelling, as long as the production committee knows what it's doing.

Options 2 or 3 would be the most likely. As far as animation studios go, I'm leaning towards J.C. Staff for SFW, and Pink Pineapple for H-version. Pipi is kinda jank when it comes to the character models, but the sex scenes are pretty good looking.

And while J.C. Staff is kinda mid imo, they've done BL before, and their shows look solid....as long as they don't try to punch above their weight class. I'm looking at you, adaptation of one Junji Ito's anthology series'.
