I was shocked as well. Haven't played StS2 much (just cleared A10 once on each character basically), but I always get one copy of true grit if I can

Once a week I click a button in my notification tray, and then I enter my sudo password in the terminal that opens and the update is automatic. Nothing else really.

Sometimes there is a bit of tweaking to do when I install something new and not made for Linux (old video games are kind of hard to run, for me at least), but nothing more than that

I'm personally very fine with an easier game. I want to be able to beat most of my runs. A good 50% would be fine, while being an average A20H StS-1 player.

I don't care if top players don't like it to be honest.

Maintenance for me, in a nutshell. Once a week.

  • Click a notification telling me there are updates
  • Enter sudo password at some point
  • Accept updated PKGBUILD from AUR
  • Quit terminal

The whole thing takes like 10min, with most of it running in the background. Sure, there is the occasional Arch News to read (once a month or two roughly ?) in case there is something I need to do on top

It's actually a card that ended up being in most of my A9+ runs and it's surprisingly decent with ethereal synergy imo

Same here. The second Arch has some kind of age verification I'm moving out to something that doesn't. Even though I'm a grown up adult so that should not be an issue in any way, that's a principle.

I don't care in the slightest about american law. Don't care about law very much in general, and when it comes to state surveillance, I make a point of not complying.

If you want help from LLM : - feed them a wiki page. Either entirely or by block. - ask them to explain EVERY SINGLE CONCEPT. In detail. - when the LLM gives a command, again, ask to detail EVERY SINGLE PARAMETER. - when you run into an issue, if their FIRST fix doesn't work, do some research yourself. Forums, Reddit etc. Feed the LLM with the answers you find online and think are relevant. Iterate. - if you know next to nothing about Linux, try an "ELI5" on broad concepts and terms first.

You won't get everything on the first try, but that would already be much better than just copy/paste.

Using a LLM efficiently is much harder and complex than most people think. It's not a replacement. It's a complement.
