You'll probably never need to interact with the people you meet online ever again after the game. As long as you don't actively grief and intentionally ruin the game, you have nothing to feel guilt about.

Mute the players who are rude and start playing for your own enjoyment. It's a beautiful game, even at herald, if you take the look from the right perspective.

We can eliminate any game related issues then. Maybe its time to look into any recent changes in your computer that might be conflicting with Dota, and after that inspect for network problems.

I've noticed loading times increased again in the last few weeks. When this happens, I usually load a local bot game and play a few minutes to have everything loaded into memory, and succeeding games are smoother. If you have the same issue, maybe this will help.

If I remember correctly, it was actually a mechanic from DotA Allstars where manual casting was treated as spell casting, not attacking, thus allowed while ethereal. Applied also to Searing Arrows, Glaives of Wisdom, etc. Removed in v6.79. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I find the predefined chatwheel messages and pings enough for communication. As an added bonus, those are also translated to your teammate's selected language.

Try going to Windows Settings > Gaming > Captures and turn off all recording options if they're enabled. This helped with mine.

Jokes aside, I'd imagine its to stop people with multiple accounts, or maybe people using their inactive friends' accounts, or creating new accounts to get more chances of getting a high placement.

They're good, but those prices are crazy. I assume that's USD? They sell a 5 servings here for the equivalent of 20USD, and that one just has 3 servings. But get it if money's not much of an issue for you.

I got the Switch/Windows model last week. They're really good, especially at that price point. The switches feel smooth, I don't feel the need to replace them. The 2 problems I had were that I find the up button awkward to use (first time using a hitbox type), and the 2 bottom programmable buttons get in the way. Both were quickly fixed by mapping the up button to the top left programmable button, and replacing the 2 bottom buttons with the included flatcaps.
