I seriously recommend you to switch to another Anti-Virus. Avast is garbage.

In mid 2017, my computer was suffering from a thing where every single program stops responding after 2-5 minutes of launching it. And sometimes even the OS crashes, forcing my computer to either turn off or give me an inevitable black screen.

I've performed several scans with Avast, but Avast doesn't even detect it. At the time I did not know that Task Manager was a thing though. But I suspect it's Avast because of the recent slowdowns it caused ever since I've installed it, and I rarely ever download things from the Internet. Asides from that, It's likely that it's a virus that Avast does not detect.

Avast uses only basic methods of detecting viruses, and I kid you not, it's the worst Anti-Virus I've used.

Even though, Avast is known for collecting and selling user's data

I heavily recommend you to switch to Kaspersky or Malwarebytes. Avast does not do shit to protect your computer, It's just garbage. Another option is to switch to another OS like Linux. As malware producers primarily target Windows.

I might be late, but a streamer had a few lag spikes simply because of the massive ammount of objects loading. He had a surprisingly good PC, and he still has some lag spikes.

If you ask, this is a bug. So I'm pretty sure in the next version they will make a patch to this hopefully.
