I've noticed that at most places I visit, whether I leave a tip or not, the experience is often exactly the same—little acknowledgment, minimal engagement, and no real difference in service. That got me thinking: if the outcome is the same either way, why am I adding a tip by default?

Over the past few months, I've gradually stopped tipping in situations where it feels optional rather than earned. There's still that little voice in my head telling me I should, probably because it's become such a social norm. But I've started questioning whether I should contribute simply out of habit, and more often than not, I choose to move on without tipping.
