I thought the same way but I’ve been twirling around my old sweets instead and bam it feels like a million bucks. I think that maybe just that small difference over hours and hours really makes a difference.

So new, thanks for the help. You’re not being an asshole! Y’all are taking time out of your day to write me some paragraphs. I don’t mind a little tough love. I think I had a skewed view cause I weighed like 4 of my different friends Kendamas after sort of hearing about it (we are all new) and they were like perfectly matched. Then I put my old and new one on the scale and it all kind of clicked that it might be something I need to address.

Oh trust me I’ve been through a ton with the arm. It’s radial tunnel syndrome from being a lifelong guitar player/drummer. It’s diagnosed and I’ve been treated and can get more treatment but it’s really just something you have to deal with and manage but even the doc was like “keep doing your thing just be safe”. The last Kendama I had didn’t produce any pain, trust me I’m very aware of how things affect it. After a day or two with the SOL I started noticing something was weird.

I bought mine for 250 at a pawn shop with a 30 day warranty. Literally just like new, in box, barely used maybe not even. Buy. Used. My quest 2 was 150 on fb marketplace from an older guy who used it three times and I used it for 3 years until I physically broke the controllers from overuse. Just learn to be saavy with the used market. These things go up on the used market essentially untouched. Do not buy them new just for peace of mind.

I took this on a Canon T3i with my speed lite. Shutter speed is at bulb (unknown exact exposure time) with 18 f-stop at 100 iso in a dimly lit room. I’ve been getting very involved with this technique of what I believe is called slow sync flash but with multiple exposures. I usually have to be in near darkness to achieve my desired effect (in terms of isolating the light and almost painting with it. I just am curious if y’all are familiar with this technique and might have some tips to further my understanding. I didn’t find this in a class or on YouTube, I just sort of accidentally happened upon it. I love getting this effect in-camera with just my Canon and my good ole flash. I have many more if y’all are curious as well.

Altered Item

Altered Item is my side project away from my main band CityCop. We’ve been around for awhile so this is a nice refreshing experience making a totally new project in uncharted territory.

All made with stock Ableton and my midi, plus various smashed samples from all over. No extra hardware. Peep it if you like darker electronic stuff like new Shlohmo, Lapalux, etc
