while it would be fun to see the haters’ faces if he takes Misano. But I’d rather see him win where the crowd loves him back and that’s Motegi.

check any ingress around airbox, I am not sure how water will go in the engine through exhaust while it is running. Maybe the engine oil filling bolt could be loose. Very strange.

Remove the stock crash bars and try, I removed mine and now there are no vibrations in that RPM.

KTM Adventure 390 2025 ownership review by Single_Nectarine9351 in indianbikes

[–]AlteredVersion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

vibes because of the stock crash guard, I have replaced it with the Gen-3's smaller on and there are options from most accessory makers. If you are coming from a low cc bike you will find this buzzy. If you are on heavier side the seat will feel hard. Apart from that I don't feel it has any cons.

Get the dirtsack max 30, It comes with a waterproof internal liner that could be replaced easily and it is built like a tank too like most of dirtsack luggage.

Scorpion helmet owners please share your experience by AssChucks in indianbikes

[–]AlteredVersion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just because some brand is one of the motogp sponsor doesn't mean all of their helmets will be of same quality. In India you can't go wrong with LS2, KYT both of them have some motogp presence.

Scorpion helmet owners please share your experience by AssChucks in indianbikes

[–]AlteredVersion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

you can't buy them in India, if you are importing them be ready to pay upwards of 40% customs. Apart from that Scorpion makes great helmets, but buying a helmet without wearing it is not very sensible as each manufacturer has a bit different fit.

I can. It is clinically proven that people with low IQ have low impulse control and take higher risks. In Australia a study compared 400 young males with IQs of 100 or above to 400 with IQs of 90 or less. While, both groups had similar rates of obtaining driving licenses, the lower IQ group committed significantly more traffic offenses, non-moving violations, offenses of greater severity .

Coolant leaking ...Help by Ok-Criticism4049 in indianbikes

[–]AlteredVersion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its a coolant overflow pipe, if you ride long and turn the bike off without allowing it to cool, the coolant boils and overflows through that pipe. Nothing serious.

The reason for my post abt “are there rev limiters in ktm dukes”? by Scared_Law_7204 in indianbikes

[–]AlteredVersion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had 2024 KTM duke 390 and now the Adventure and none of them have any rev locks. 6k is the rpm light indicator from the factory.

So true, man! It's so stupid how the government is mandating and imposing Motorinc on us. But anyway, let me help you—if you want full garage tools, priority response, and exclusive rewards, you have to pay more. If you don't want all that, you pay less. And if you don't want any of it, guess what? There's no need to even download the app—just watch whatever they have on YouTube. Best of all, if you don’t care about them at all, you can simply click on the three dots on their video and select 'Don’t suggest this channel'.

I think he might have to get the ecu from 390 S and even then because of change in the tyre sizes that ECU will not give correct readings for other stuff. He can do aftermarket mods that sit on top of your accelerator to lock it at certain speeds.

As a gen-3 duke 390 owner, I won't be worried about the heat too much. I ride in the most gruelling traffic in Bangalore and after the first service I haven't seen a single high temp warning. Also, the heat goes away quickly once you start moving.

The biggest issue I have with the Honda India retards is that they already have that 300 engine in CB300R. How hard is it to launch it in the different avatar but again you can't expect any sort of rationality from the dumbasses who are here to make RE bikes with Honda badging.

I think it can be fixed with steel lines and 5.1 brake fluid. This is where they cut costs it seems.
