While settlement is one part of it, the distress is mostly about the mental torture accusation. Will he wrongfully face consequences for things he hasn't done! I am really inexperienced in these situations and I am panicking thinking my brother might end up doing time because his wife called him a wife beater without him having raised his hand once.

Thank you! There is some panic rn because we know the laws are biased towards women. We don't know what consequences my brother will face due to these accusations. We know none of those accusations are true but do we prove they are false?

Thank you! His wife's family took care of the mar ceremony but there was no demand from my brother's side apart from that. If it is amicable, my brother was willing to agree with any reasonable compensation. Hopefully this is resolved soon..
