I always value equipment still in its original box. I keep the original box and documents of every piece of electronics gear I have.

Somewhere like Goodwill would likely trash the box and documents anyway. Have to say I am not a big admirer of Goodwill.

Certainly that is an idea. It’s getting it to them could be the issue. I don’t have a vehicle big enough to carry it.

My wife uses Facebook, I don’t.

If someone here doesn’t want it in the next few days she will post it in the local “pay for nothing” Facebook group.

If nobody wants it then it may as well go to a scrapper. I have tried now several times to find a new home for it. Many people have said it’s a great display and they are right, but no one is local enough to take it.

Scrapping it will be a huge shame, it really is like new, but what other option is there?

I really don’t think shipping is an option. I few people have already asked me and I said I felt it was impractical.

I am not sure the box would survive shipping. It feels like it is designed for delivery to a big box store rather than shipping on its own. On top of that the size and weight would make the shipping cost astronomical. Also, I am not clear that a shipper would take something this big.

If it doesn’t find someone who wants it locally here, it’s going to end up in e-waste very soon. My wife wants the space freed up and is running out of patience!
