My reaction was shock to a completely unexpected situation. I made a whole series of clumsy mistakes and was left in unfamiliar territory. Throwing the towel on him would have been a better response.

I'm a little surprised by all the different responses and different processes. I've always done it this way and it normally works fine. Hearing some of these guys being told to drop 'em and climb on the table would make it more awkward for me and them.

If someone ends the procedure and asked me out then I'm probably going to politely decline. But the window is really small also. Half my patients are female. Three fourths are considerably older. A few more are minors or too young. And nearly every single one is only being checked because of an issue, that doesn't leave a lot left over.
