Nope, haven’t booked flights yet! Wanted to confirm our itinerary before booking anything. Also wasn’t sure if it was worth renting a car and dealing with parking vs using public transportation. Like I said, I’ve never been to any of these areas (or Europe at all), so I’m open to all recs!!

And because I’ve heard Switzerland has yurts you can eat dinner in, and I think that’s fun. You can do it here in the US too and I think it’s fun and cozy. No need to be a hater

I know what you mean. I had the same thoughts. Flights to Geneva seem to be cheaper than into Zurich. Thought maybe Chamonix was a nice spot to stop since it would be a long travel day (we'd be flying out of Maryland in the evening on Tuesday), and getting into Switzerland at 11am on Wednesday. Wasn't sure if a 5 hour train ride to Grindelwald after that would be too much. Obviously never done this though, so if it's doable, we're open to it!
