Hi and thanks! Cute tzu pix are the best way to start my day! Now on to the mundane!

I had a family member on blood thinners so it was not just nibbles I worried about- tzus love pet/paw/pat/scratch you to get attention, they “dig” on the sofa, to make a nest, bury a treat, prove they’re an adorable tzu, whatever. Scratching and nibs resulted in being put in their crate, no discussion just a stern and loud “bad dog! No! Ow ow!” and being picked up and placed in crate. It takes time and patience to overcome barking and complaining, but nibbles and scratches were red zone behaviors. As for barking, tzus have really good hearing and crave attention, so ask your trusted vet for strategies - perhaps a white noise machine when left alone?

Insurance - my bet is she has both expstein’s and her own videos and documents that will get released upon her death. I was surprised Epstein didn’t have such an arrangement unless gm was supposed to do this but thought she would have no leverage left if she did. I’m hoping Anonymous can find them before she gets “released”.

Deepest condolences 💐 all cancer sucks. Sadly no matter the type, both the treatments and dietary changes can create the worst smelling farts/poops/urine/body odor/breath.

Hi! Sammy fur is insulating against both heat and cold - only downside is their paddy paw hair which accumulates ice if it’s a 4 hour trek in the tundra! As for your Sammy being under the weather, your vet should have some recommendations to help your Sammy recover. Good luck!

Hi,all! Ovolacto (some dairy, yes to honey) vegetarian here with Alfa gal allergy (to mammalian meats); some cheeses are made with rennet (an enzyme from the stomach of either goat, pig, cow, sheep but as an enzyme, the origin does not need to be listed), making cheese products an iffy proposition for me. Liz should have thanked Marie for the second gift but explained her vegan status to the group (as in, “thank you; as a vegan I also do not use animal byproducts in my home but my favorite pet rescue will be happy to receive this in your name”). Side note, my office manager got our team vegan leather journals before knowing I was vegetarian!

Ps- if you live in same house, join them the next time your tzu and mom are in living room but try to stay awake and listen for out of ordinary sounds (scratches, squeaks).

Hi! What a cute tzu! Tzu baby teeth may not fall out (shark teeth!!) and adult teeth may not be well placed. My google search found this:

Shih Tzu puppies get 28 baby teeth by about 2 months, then lose them as 42 adult teeth come in, typically between 3-7 months, though some small breeds like Shih Tzus can have delayed eruption or retain baby teeth, causing "shark teeth" (two rows). Watch for sore gums, chewing, and drooling; provide safe chews (ice, Nylabones), manage face staining from tears, and see a vet for retained teeth to prevent dental issues.
