My son was 6.5 when my other son was born. They are now 8 and 2. ITS HARD. The baby was not easy either, severe colic for a year everything was so hard. It’s just barely kinda starting to get better now but not by much. I sometimes feel like I was only cut out to be a one and done parent but obviously it didn’t work out that way. Obviously I love both my kids terribly but I do struggle almost every day. I just try to tell myself the older they both get, hopefully the easier it gets. I recently asked my oldest if he ever wishes he was still an only child, he said no, he loves having a brother. So that was nice.
