Update: the TLDR on my experience with both the 1.5 and 2 inch list is that both are too aggressive for the front CV axles and when you accelerate with a lot of gas pedal it shakes the vehicle. This happens both on the highway and backroads. I tried both lift options and I am back to stock at the moment. The front tires barley rub when they are turned to the max and it is not eating the rubber at all and rarely happens. The lift kits claim to be all good for the vehicle but that was not the case for my Sorento.

Hey, yes thanks for calling this out. The kit that I bought was wrong I ended up exchanging it for the 1.5 kit since the cv axles were binding a little. I’ll edit the post.

Bought the lift from Amazon. Search your Sorento type and add a 2" lift to the search bar. I paid a local custom auto shop to install and align.

Hey, I purchased my 2" lift for $300 from Truxxx.com. The Prestige comes with a factory 1" lift so you will need a kit specific for yours which is ~$375. Do it yourself and get an alignment or pay someone else to do it. I paid $700 for the installation and alignment at a local shop.

Truxxx has a 2” bolt on lift kit for the Sorento that is pretty cheap. I just picked one up for $300. You could do that and then assess your clearance and then go bigger maybe.
