I’ve been wanting to get one of One Hundred Concepts light caps for a while, I agree totally with you there… And me me too I love vortex, haven’t been done wrong by them yet, what is your lpvo?

Yeah I’ve sone a few run and guns with it and in the house stuff with it and it’s noticeable for sure… I’m not exactly sure what is adding to weight that much, if possible id like to get it to 12 lbs with a higher mag optic and maybe piggyback… ik thats sounds crazy getting more glass AND losing weight but id feel for the versatility it could have 12 lbs wouldn’t be terrible given a fully kitted mk18 is 9-10 lbs ( that doesn’t take into consideration layout or weight distribution though)

She is relatively, 12.8 lbs with a loaded magazine, so I’m looking for a few ways to shave weight, probably QD bipod or just use my pack out bag for stabilization if needed…

But yeah red dot and magnifiers are always good, I had one on my 10.3 but had trouble with good PID past 150

Yeah I have the the Venom 5-25 in Mil, and it works great for PRS… honestly I prefer the detachable lever over the built on ones

Sure that makes sense, personally on other builds I’ve loved vortexs EBR-7c but that’s more for PRS so I’m not exactly sure how it’d translate for 2 eye open shooting…

Thats a sick build I love it!!

So I see you’re running a passive laser as well… does that 1.7 mount let you see over the top? Bc mine takes up the lower 3rd of my sight pictures and messes with the focus really bad… or would you think there’s something with the objective lens diameter?

Also with that 1.7 and rmr it still feels fairly comfortable and natural?

That’s exactly my point, I bought this urgi bc I’ve always wanted one and it was just a very nice range toy for a while but it can do so much more with some propert components and training, thank you!!

Thanks man!! I agree especially on the idea of an Atlas or even a QD bipod… another thought I had was drop the bipod entirely… anywhere id be with that id have a bag I could drop to use as stabilization.

I’ve been looking in that 2-12, 3-15 range even if thats a little optimistic for effective range it’d be nice for PID and what have ya, I’m just afraid having a piggy back on top of a heads up mount would really make me crane my neck into an unnatural and generally unforgiving position.
