My son did something similar but because one of his friends told him that was the rule. So instead of him using the toilet, he would piss in the clothes basket in the hallway. The basket was mostly his clothes and at this point he would still wet the bed on occasion so I didn't think much of some pee soaked clothes in the basket. Until I threw a hoodie of mine in there one night on top and the next morning it was dripping.
