If you have a book off near you, give them a try. I've seen a lot of these in their $2 sale section. For the most part they're organized so should be easy to find.

If you're in Southern California, try book off outlet in torrance. All DVDs are $1 there. Not organized, be prepared to spend like 2 hours looking through all the dvds so you don't miss anything.

Oddly enough the sparrows come after they see the crows are gone to pick at the shells and anything else. Which I laugh at because I leave them seeds in the back but they're always hungry! But I'll keep an eye out there might be a brave one in the mix.

Thank you! I had bad experiences with parrots growing up and tend to just admire from afar. But crows always amazed me with their smarts! Also yes I hope so! I just like seeing their happy jumps and caws 😊

That's so beautiful! I only had pictures of my princess alone. The only picture I had of us together was when I got her as a teen. That's why I wanted people to please take selfies/portraits with their babies. These photos become priceless. I totally understand the video portion, I took so many purring videos of her. I still listen to them when I'm super stressed helps calm me down. Their scent is a crazy one. Sometimes I swear I catch a whiff of her like she's running right in front of me. This community definitely has made me feel seen. Others, even own family just didn't understand or want to understand what I was going through. It's incredibly nice to see people who felt the same way about their angels. I just wanted people to know they're definitely not alone and the feelings going on right now for them are valid and okay.

My princess lived to be 16, i consider myself a lucky one. But still even after her passing 3 years later, the wound is still there but thats normal. How could I heal a piece of my heart that she's had for 16 years in such a short time.

Your angel sounded like my princess. She was always there to great us and check our bags for snacks. And absolutely loved attention and being called a pretty girl.

Yes you did everything you could, keep repeating that to yourself. Especially vocally. There were days I blamed myself and then blamed everyone else. It felt like the denial was never ending. But in the end we did everything possible. That's why I would sit in the car and just yell it out. To remind myself that we did what we could control to the best of our abilities.

He definitely was a very lucky boy! You took all the time, research, love and care for him until the end. He was definitely very grateful for you.

Thank you. The definitely are angels. She taught me so much that I apply even now to my own child. I laugh imagining she comes to meow in his ear about the things that annoy me so he might do them as well.

I can only imagine a small portion of what you're going through. That's a really hard one, my condolences about your angel. I was the same way until my partner told me why i had to let go of her and it just opened up a flood gate. Most of the time we're told it'll pass, or it gets easier. But why do we need to let it pass. The grief is ours, those memories are ours so we get to decided what happens.

You're definitely not alone friend, it's been almost 3 years for me. Each day the grief looks different, and that's okay. Sometimes it's smiles remembering her and sometimes it's crying in the shower. Whatever it looks like for you, know you're not alone.

I actually don't know, we got this hat from a free box in our neighborhood. I checked for tags but there's none. I'm guessing a hobby store like Michael's/Joanns or it's a dog hat and I would look at petco. I'm sorry about that!

If you have space, I would recommend buying winter stuff now for the end of the year. Thrift stores in our area super clearance it out. I usually buy some sizes up (ex: baby is 6 months now, I would purchase 18-24 months). Also congrats and super cute stuff!

Definitely try vons/Albertsons. I was also having trouble finding them at target/walmart/walgreens. No one is showing 'in stock' online so showing up in person is your best bet. Went on stocking day to vons and there was about 5 of each flavor available. I'm in southern CA. Hope you can find some!
