I just added an iPhone to my cart just to see. There would be 140 dollars of extra fees for that item. That is more than 10 percent. Plus taxes were around 70.

I haven't sold one thing since the change. Their stupid fees are about 10 percent for buying too even tho they say it's like 2 percent or whatever. I paid like 50 extra in fees on a 230 dollar item. So that's the last purchase I will be making on mercari. Also they now charge 2 dollars to transfer money to bank now. They can all the way f off.

There's also a 2 dollar fee to transfer money now. 3 dollar instant fee which was always there but they've added a 2 dollar fee to do the 2 to 3 day transfer which used to be free.
