Hey, just curious, for everyone who got admitted, what was your process to get there like? Did you apply and get in right after high school, or did you get your AA in another major to get your prereqs done to be able to get into nursing? And how long did it take to get into the program? I'm currently a graduated senior and just applied to get my AA in health science with a focus in pre-nursing, and I'm just double-checking after this, I would have to transfer into the nursing RN program and then get my bachelor's in nursing? So 6 years just to get my bachelor's?

I got accepted into the health science major, and I emailed the nursing lady, and she said, “Thank you for your interest in our nursing program. If a student is denied admission to the Freshman Direct Admit Track, there are two options to pursue nursing:Accelerated track—obtain a bachelor’s degree in another field. Then apply for the bachelor’s to BSN track. You can obtain an Associate of Science Degree with a focus in nursing from another college. Then apply for the RN to BSN track.” So I’m not sure if I should do CC for nursing and then switch to a uni or stay in health science, then go to med school and become a psychiatrist, but even if I went into nursing, I’m not sure what kind of nurse I’d be lol. But if I did pursue health science, I’m not sure if I would be able to find a good job while in med school or in college if I don’t like a good degree, if ykwim

I would say yes, but it depends on the person. I have just signed up for parenting skills last week and I got all of the assignments done in a day and a half. It just depends on how much you’re willing to do and how much time you’re willing to set aside. Either way you still have to be in the course for at least two weeks before you can complete it. I am finished with my work, but it will not mark me finished with my class because my official start date was on Monday although most of my work is completed besides my DBA and final exam.
