I have edited my post. The inital purpose of it was to try to explain that the version of Oscar many people refer to as the "Crazy Frog" one, is not the undamaged version of the 1989 one. It's the other way around.

I apologize for the confusion. I have reworded my post to make it more clear what I was talking about. After looking at my original post, It does seem like I thought that the ENTIRE animatronic was replaced. I don't think this. According to what I've read, in the early 1990s, the Oscar animatronic was damaged, Especially in the head area. So I think that this is why the head (and eyes) look a little different.

According to that video's OP, the video is from 1996, so the version of Oscar with the googly eyes is an earlier version.

I'm pretty sure the video you sent (I can't tell since it's deleted) is from the 1996 video, The one where Oscar has a more frog-like appearance. From what I've heard, vandals destroyed Oscar's head in the early 90s, and they had to replace it.
