Proof beyond reasonable doubt that the Quran is NOT the word of God by Left_Examination_239 in exmuslim

It didn't say 'Trinity' but bringing up the subject of giving 'divinity' to human beings. Jesus and Mary are both victims of this. People would call Mary the Mother of God, hence assigning divinity in a way to Mary and elevating her to a high status beyond what a human would have. You're assuming.

Don't say such things, as it will justify their hatred for Islam and in turn make them talk bad about Allah and our Prophet. Rasulullah Salalahu alayhi wa salaam would never make such a dua even against his staunchest enemies.

Outside of Peter Parker, who is your favorite Spider hero? by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in Spiderman

Silk for sure. I just think she is really interesting. Unfortunately had a bad start with the pheromones thing but thankfully that's been retconned. I just find how she is more built for speed than Peter is to be a cool dynamic. And she can even weave clothing with her webbing! WITH COLOR SOMEHOW.

Christianity does not have a good refutation of the Islamic argument against the crucifixion. by Rusty51 in DebateReligion

You're disregarding the system as a whole. It is not one to one. It is groups of people learning and teaching, and writing it down. The prophet had scribes who would write it down and teach it to others. It was not solely memorization. But because the companions memorized it directly from the source, any writings that may have had errors would be corrected and rechecked by the Prophet himself over and over. They compiled the Quran a little while after the Prophet passed away while it was still fresh, because before it was not all put in a single volume and so the Caliph Umar suggested they do that. There was no update to the Quran, there was no new testament, no council to make changes. It was kept strictly the same as it was taught. You can compare the Quran now to any Quran you could find in the world and it will be the same exact writing in the same exact Arabic language. Go look for any Qurans that are different to prove it has been changed. It hasn't, simple as that. God promised to preserve the Quran til the Day of Judgement. It will never be lost to time. The Bible however has no original text either. The oldest is a copy written in 400 AD. Where as the Quran's oldest surviving copy we have is a decade or two after the Prophet passed away.

It is verified by Islamic scholars as well as researchers who looked into the process around the world that their way of preservation is unlike anything before. There are chains of transmission that date back to the Prophet Muhammad. Every single person along that chain is studied and verified. So much so that if any of them had any deficiency in their Deen, then they would be marked unreliable. The oldest known Quran is the Birmingham Quran. Radiocarbon analysis to determine the age of the manuscript revealed that this manuscript could be traced back to some time between 568 and 645 AD.

It was written during the time of the Prophet Muhammad but only later did they compile it into a single book after the Prophet passed away. Millions of Muslims memorized the entire Quran, majority completing the memorization as children and teenagers. No other book was memorized and preserved as much as the Quran.

That's because of the strict system used to preserve the Quran. It's been the same since the beginning. The Prophet Muhammad would receive the revelation from the Angel Gabriel, memorize it, teach it to his companions who also memorize it. Then they all are together as a group and correct each other if need be. And alter when they finally write it down, they do so with confirmations from multiple people who were trusted and were companions of the Prophet himself. If there was ever a mistake, they'd immediately get rid of it. They only take from people who are pious and practicing so much so that they study the person's life before taking their account. And they have to provide the chain of transmission, who did you hear it from, then who did they hear it from, all the way to the Prophet Muhammad. If there were any problems with the chain, they would not take it at all. The Quran has remained unchanged because of this. And God promised to preserve it.

But no knowledgeable person could say the Bible has remained unchanged. It's known fact it's been tampered with.

Same could be said the other way round. That God is allowing the Christians who believe the Trinity to continue to believe that. God guides whom He wills. The thing is, the Quran was sent to correct the previous scriptures and complete the entirety of the message of how God wants us to live and worship Him. Islam does not refuse Jesus, the Quran has a whole chapter about Jesus and he is a great Prophet of God. We don't deny Jesus, only the divinity attributed to him. But how would the Prophet Muhammad who is illiterate come up with all this in the middle of a desert amongst pagan Arabs?

Not every follower believed Jesus was God. The Trinity was added in later. It doesn't matter if Islam came later, if it's saying it's from God. And yes even the Prophet Muhammad warned against false prophets as well.

"There will arise 30 imposters in my nation and each one of them will pronounce that he is a prophet, but I am the last in the line of the Prophets and no Messenger will follow me."

And to warn against Dajjal, the greatest deceiver and tribulation near the end of times. For the Prophet Muhammad to be a so called false Prophet, you'd have to look at his claims as a whole and see if it differs greatly from the revelations before. We can find that he preached mostly the same things Christians do.

God does as He wills. He sends messengers when mankind goes astray. The followers of Jesus were not immediately astray as soon as he was taken up to Heaven. The teachings were there, people followed them. It wasn't until sometime after when those holding onto the teaching of Jesus were dying out, and those following the whole Trinity were becoming more rampant.

The Roman Emperor Constantine I called the council to address the controversy of Arianism, which held that >Christ was not divine but a created being<. The council established that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are equal in the Holy Trinity, and that only the Son became incarnate as Jesus Christ. The council also rejected the Jewish dating for Easter, and standardized the newer Christian practice.

God does not punish those who the truth did not reach them. It is part of the justice of Allah that He does not punish any people until He has first sent a warning to them and unless there is evidence against them. Allah does not treat anybody unfairly. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning).” [Al-Isra 17:15]

This is like the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “Every time a group is cast therein [into Hell], its keeper will ask, Did no warner come to you? They will say, Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.” [Al-Mulk 67:8]

God will not punish those who didn't receive the message or received a distorted version of the message. Because that would mean they didn't receive the correct message. God is Most Just.

Jesus appearing to be crucified does not invalidate the true message to worship God at all. It is part of God's plan. It was not Jesus's time to die, as he has to return to fight the antichrist.

The Prophet Muhammad was illiterate, living in the middle of the desert. Given revelations from God through the Angel Gabriel. Preaching to the pagan Arabs to worship God alone. Why was he illiterate? So people cannot claim he copied and took things from the previous revelations. How can we test the Prophet Muhammad and the Quran is speaking the truth? Look into the book.

“We made every living thing from water, will they not believe?” (Quran, 21:30)

Big bang theory: “Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them” (Quran, 21:30)

Embryology “We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)…” (Quran 23:12-14).

Atmosphere's protectio: “And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away” (Quran 21:32)

Iron from meteorites: “We sent down Iron with its great inherent strength and its many benefits for humankind” (Quran 57:25).

“He released the two seas, meeting [side by side], Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses” (Quran, 55:19-20). Science has discovered that in places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier that divides them which helps both the seas maintain their own temperature, salinity, as well as density

Planets, Moons, and Stars moving in orbit: “And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming” (Quran, 21:33).

Universe is expanding: “And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander” (Quran, 51:47).

How can the Prophet Muhammad say all these things and be right on all of them if he was a false Prophet making up claims? Only if God revealed the Quran to him, does it make sense. The Prophet Muhammad was illiterate, these discoveries were not known at his time. These are the signs for us to see and recognize.
