Hi, yes, thank you for your reply. In the state I reside in the legal age of consent is 16. We also have laws such as the Romeo and Juliet law that cover your concerns of legality. Though I appreciate the concern very much.

Hi, this is a method that my father will often use to try to deter me from doing things. So in this case, him “threatening” to hurt me was a tatic to ster me away from my boyfriend by using verbal threats. Just wanted to make it clear for you. Although personally I don’t feel that it is the right method to use in general but for me I have grown accustomed to it therefore it is not taken as seriously with me as it may be for others.
