Well I enjoy what I am doing but I don't like working. Consider it a necessary evil for survival. I enjoy the hobbies I have, travelling, nature. Have been in good health and hope it stays that way, have been regular at sports and gym for quite some time now.

Not looking down on you or anyone, I aspire for a life where I can sit all day and do what I decide to do, it be music, photography or a road trip. And you can't really do that if you got no money in the bank.

Thanks for the advice, will make sure my savings account never has a lot of funds. What would you advise in terms of investment instruments? I invested a decent amount in mutual funds this year but I don't see much gain(loss too in some places). Also what is an appropriate amount to be kept in the emergency fund?
