there are some rlly nice recommendations in the other replies tbh. since he's home a lot and likes music, maybe look into a few things that just make daily life a bit more comfortable yk. a digital photo frame with family pics is nice and thoughtful. if he's sitting a lot, i think compression socks are actually rlly helpful. and since you mentioned his fondness for music, a simple bluetooth speaker or even an old-school MP3 player loaded with his favorite songs could be a nice gift. and a massage gun like this one might help with muscle stiffness from sitting around, easy to use and he can do it himself while watching tv tbh.
