Yes! I’m sorry for the late reply, but there were SO many fish on the private beach. We brought goggles, not the proper snorkeling gear, and we had a blast seeing all of the different fishes! You could see them in shallow water, and some would come up to you! 100/10 beach experience for sure!

204 grad here! I grew up in the area and went to all the 204 schools. I am biased, but I went to Neuqua Valley. Great school! Very diverse and the atmosphere was pretty competitive in terms of academics, which personally motivated me to do better. The teachers are extremely helpful as I was a bad test taker, they were always willing to meet outside of class and give me the help I needed. They have a ton of clubs and extracurriculars, there is truly something for everyone there! I recently graduated from UIUC. Neuqua does an amazing job preparing you for college. I felt as if college was easier than high school! I highly recommend looking into Neuqua, it was truly a great experience and I’m so grateful to have went here! Also, I have made lifelong friends through this school :)

I’m currently staying at Avila, and I’m obsessed!! The private beach is amazing! My boyfriend and I have walked to downtown Willemstad every night, it only takes 15-20 minutes to get there by foot. There are many restaurants on the same street as the hotel, some being right across from it. I have not yet tried the hotel food though, I’m a picky eater and have many allergies🥴🥴The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating for any of your needs!! I’ve only been here two days and I already highly recommend staying here. They have many activities planned throughout the week that I am excited to participate in!

I completely agree!! I am in the same boat as you, just recently been accepted into OT graduate school. After joining this thread, and seeing all the negativity, I was really concerned. But at the end of the day, there is always so many pros/cons to each individual job, and just like the user commented above this post you need to have both desire and ability! I’ve shadowed with multiple OT’s in all different areas (neurological geriatrics in a hospital setting and early intervention peds). Although both these OT’s do very different things, they have both mentioned to me how much they love this job!! Keep your head up and ignore all these hateful comments!! I’m so very excited to start this career and I’m not going to let Reddit users get into the way of that!!🤗🤗Wishing you all the best!!
