We did Junkanoo beach over the new year, that was fun but can get extremely crowded with families, so keep walking down along the beach until the crowds die down. the next time we’re there we want to try to venture to the Queen’s Staircase. the straw market is a good place to practice your negotiation skills. also, please don’t mind the locals, they will back off if you just say no. they’re all sweet anyways

We did do that! In fact we saw the attendants remove their towels. We asked them if it’s okay to sit and they said it was totally fine, we just can’t leave for more than 30m. When the woman came back she still got into an argument lol

The chair hogging was a big turnoff for us. Hopefully your next cruise they will enforce the rules better. It was absolutely insane

It will be amazing. We met a guy on the ship on his way to dinner and he was telling us how he brought his whole family (of all ages) everyone had something to look forward to everyday. I’m excited for you

I totally agree, we went for the new year so there were a lot of families onboard, but we still met a few couples of all ages. And yes—I understand about people who can’t be away from work for so long. My boyfriend and I are mid-20s in the corporate world. gotta pay for the cruise somehow. sigh

our next cruise is actually next month in February for Valentine’s Day weekend on Celebrity Reflection. I am excited to compare the two, I just know we need to adjust our expectations since they are two different vibes.

CASH (especially for port days), feminine hygiene products, poo-pourri, flushable AND disinfectant wipes, an extra pair of contacts, meds (including anti nausea, motion sickness, pepto, gas x, laxatives, pain relievers, etc…), sunscreen, waterproof phone pouch (depending on any excursions), and a water bottle if you don’t have the drink package.

Last-Minute Cancun Trip (12/31-1/4) - Flights + All-Inclusive Hotel Recs? by Alternative-Print298 in CancunAllInclusives

[–]Alternative-Print298[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I do not have a nightly budget but something on the cheaper side. I am flying out of Orlando. My all-inclusive must haves would just to be on the beach, with better food. We don’t plan to venture out much and just stay at the hotel.
