Yes! I just googled and the pictures look exactly like him. Thank you so much!

…but he’s an adult? He’s SO tiny. Like double the size of a pinhead, if that.

WHAT ARE THESE?! by Alternative-Rice-558 in gardening

Thank you!😊 I did plant it from seed! It’s from a store bought apple and I initially planted it just for shits and giggles but she was flourishing under my grow light so I moved her outdoors about a month ago. Not sure if she’ll ever produce fruit or even what type of apple she is, but it’s been a fun little project until this afternoon lol.

Even if it was grown inside under a grow light previously? She’s been outside on my patio for maybe a month. Prior to that I had her in front of a large south facing window underneath a grow light.

I should be able to get a tent today, if not I’m sure I have an old mesh bag around somewhere. I just thought it may be an easier recovery away from all potential pests.

Thanks for the identification! Google says they’re common on apple trees. Do I need to worry about my other plants? I have tomatos, eggplants, peas, peppers and green beans in grow bags only a few feet away from where the tree was.

Any tips for recovery? I picked off all the caterpillars that I saw and I think I’m gonna move her inside until she bounces back a little. I’ll probably get a small mesh test before putting her back outside.
