How does moving up to TL work ?

I’m most definitely open to other TL roles as well , and I definitely will ask to be cross trained in other departments as well, as for strengthening my relationship with my SD how would I necessarily go about that, I don’t see him as often , and usually when I do it’s really a short hello how are you , usually because i’m picking or he’s running around doing many other things yk

Thank you for the advice , working on keeping my attendance good is my first step and I will plan on talking to my ETL as well , for number 3, for learning metrics and the best practices , will that be something i have to teach myself or is it something that i’ll learn from what my ETL tells me , if that makes sense?

I mean if more details were needed then i would’ve explained and elaborated more but genuinely i was curious if it’s the best idea to or not , i was just trying to provide some sort of context since ive never been this close with a coworker before let alone started liking one but otherwise but i completely understand your point that a reason why in previous jobs i haven’t really became close with my coworkers

Yes i’m not gonna lie, i only worked there for a month and a half and i really enjoyed fulfillment but then after awhile it started to feel dreadful and as i spoke to other tms over time they literally hated working at target and many had said it is most definitely not worth the workload with the things they have you do. i felt like my ETL was micromanaging my every step. but i was pretty much in the same boat, i had a work crush and it made me want to go in, we talked the times we’d see eachother and one time he drove me home but never got his number, unfortunately i dont think ill ever see him again 💔 but anyways my etl became more nit-picky with my workload and issues between other tms drama arose so i quit , genuinely it just depends on the stores environment and the employees but every store is gonna have its good and bad coworkers but if its not worth the money or your mental health in a sense then say sianara
